- How to best estimate your needs for these items:
- Take a look at the # of stages you have; you’ll want to make sure you some of these supplies for each
- Ideally, you’ll want a couple rolls of gaff, a package of zip ties, a spool of rope (to hang backdrops), some cutting tools, a flashlight, sunblock / bug spray (if it’s outdoors and necessary), a clock, and perhaps a roll or two of visqueen if weather could become an issue.
- Some of these other items could be stored at the main production office or the boneyard for on-demand usage / needs.
- Depending on the size of the event, each department may be in charge or ordering their own; but for smaller events, the Office or Festival Manager can create a master list and make the orders.
