 DeTect, Inc. has recently released on Google Play the the DroneWatcherAPP that makes an Android smartphone or tablet into a personal drone detector.  The app monitors for drones up to 1/2 mile providing both audible and visual alerts when a drone is detected. The app can be downloaded for free on Google Play.  

DroneWatcherAPP (see attached information) uses advanced signals intelligence technology to turn a smartphone or tablet into a drone and small UAV detector that detects and alerts for ~95% of consumer and prosumer drones up to 1/4 - 1/2 miles away.  The app also records data on the drone type, ID and other information that can be used to document incursions and support apprehension and prosecution by local law enforcement. For local neighborhoods and public areas, multiple app enabled devices can be linked to create a crowdsourced drone surveillance network complete with locational triangulation of the operator and real-time situational awareness web displays with automatic visual, audible and text message alerts of unauthorized drone activity.
